Hippy Market Ibiza

HIPPY MARKET

The Hippy Market at Punta Arabí is the original one and the biggest! Countless stalls huddle beneath the shade of pine trees on lots of winding paths between white bungalows. This market is stuffed full of items from all over the world – many handmade. The second biggest is located in Las Dalias and both are a definite shop till you drop experience - expect the weird and wonderful!

Cafe Mambo is Ibiza´s most iconic sunset bar, sitting in the heart of the famous sunset strip in San Antonio. Since opening in 1994, many of the worlds most famous DJ´s have played here and the sunsets are out of this world. There's no feeling like watching the sunset here.

Dalt Vila Ibiza

DALT VILA

Dalt Vila is rich in cultural and historic artefacts. In addition to the castle and its walls, there is a cathedral, a monastery and several museums. The real attraction of Dalt Vila is that around all these ancient artefacts are restaurants decorated with fairy lights, people dining on balconies, antique shops, jewellery shops and much more, giving this place a magical feel. You can lose yourself in the labyrinth of narrow passageways, as you climb further away from the tourist areas into the residential cobbled streets. Local children play football below hanging washing and plenty of bougainvillaea, at this stage you feel you have entered the real Ibiza.

Pikes Ibiza

PIKES IBIZA

Pikes Hotel was and still is the place to party in Ibiza! The shoot location for the famous Wham! hit 'Club Tropicana', the hotel was first set up by the brilliant Tony Pike in the late 1970s and the hotel has hosted many famous guests including Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, Bon Jovi, Biffy Clyro, Idris Elba, DJ Harvey, Liam Gallagher and more! In fact, the hotel's nightclub, Freddie's Bar, is named after Freddie Mercury who hosted his 41st birthday there! Now owned by Ibiza Rocks, the hotel is one of the few places that still represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic spirit of the island combined with an up to the minute new-wave of edgy millennial style. What's more, in his 80s the original owner, Tony Pikes, can still be seen popping up in the bar, partying the night away!
