The Hippy Market at Punta Arabí is the original one and the biggest! Countless stalls huddle beneath the shade of pine trees on lots of winding paths between white bungalows. This market is stuffed full of items from all over the world – many handmade. The second biggest is located in Las Dalias and both are a definite shop till you drop experience - expect the weird and wonderful!
Cafe Mambo is Ibiza´s most iconic sunset bar, sitting in the heart of the famous sunset strip in San Antonio. Since opening in 1994, many of the worlds most famous DJ´s have played here and the sunsets are out of this world. There's no feeling like watching the sunset here.
Down the beaten path of the western coast of Ibiza sits the Lost City of Atlantis, a secluded and mystical place which is considered the gem of the White Isle. Centuries ago the rock from here was quarried and used to build the watchtowers, homes and walls of the citadel of Ibiza. Today you will discover a multitude of interesting and unusual rock formations here.
Situated in the south-east of the island of Ibiza, Es Vedrá is host to limitless mysteries, legends and curiosities. A favourite among tourists and locals alike, Es Vedrá, as well as the islets of Es Vendranell and Ponent, was declared a natural reserve in 2002.
Dalt Vila is rich in cultural and historic artefacts. In addition to the castle and its walls, there is a cathedral, a monastery and several museums. The real attraction of Dalt Vila is that around all these ancient artefacts are restaurants decorated with fairy lights, people dining on balconies, antique shops, jewellery shops and much more, giving this place a magical feel. You can lose yourself in the labyrinth of narrow passageways, as you climb further away from the tourist areas into the residential cobbled streets. Local children play football below hanging washing and plenty of bougainvillaea, at this stage you feel you have entered the real Ibiza.
Pikes Hotel was and still is the place to party in Ibiza!
